Top GP meets Dearne Valley’s doctors of tomorrow


Pupils from De Warenne Academy who have shown an interest in a career in medicine were invited to speak to Prof Helen Stokes-Lampard, Chair of the Royal College of Practitioners (RCGP), when she dropped by the Stone Castle Centre Conisbrough.
Prof Stokes-Lampard, who is a practising GP, was visiting the region to attend the RCGP’s South Yorkshire/North Trent annual general meeting.

Hide AdPractice manager Mona Parks said she also met staff at the outstanding-rated practice and discussed the challenges of providing high quality primary care to patients, as well as meeting patients from the surgery’s practice participation group.
