NHS Rotherham acts to beat stress
NHS Rotherham is funding the five-week programme which teaches people to control their stress and worry.
Stress Control classes are delivered by staff from NHS Rotherham’s Primary Care Mental Health Service and are designed for people who that they might be suffering from anxiety, depression, sleep difficulties, anger or low self esteem.

Hide AdJemma Dixon, of NHS Rotherham, said: "One in six people suffer from stress or anxiety during their lives.
“This course aims to teach people to understand the triggers of their stress and anxiety and provides them with the support and self-help techniques to be able to manage it. “We also provide an information pack and activities for people to work through in their own time."
Sessions start on May 13 between from 6.30pm until 8.30pm at the Arts Centre, Rotherham Central Library. The last session is June 10.
Classes are open to anyone over the age of 18 who is registered with a Rotherham GP practice.
