Titans defend price rises

ROTHERHAM Titans have defended their admission price-hike, saying the club still offers the best value for money in the Championship.

General adult prices have gone up by 20 per cent this season from £15 to £18 – with an additional £3 payable for a stand seat at Clifton Lane – while concessions have jumped by a hefty 50 per cent.

But Titans’ chief executive John Lewis says that the prices aren’t excessive for second-tier professional rugby and they have had to rise to keep the club on a competitive level.
