Four fire crews called to Conisbrough blaze

FIRE engines from four stations spent more than two hours at the scene of a blaze at a house in Conisbrough on Sunday.

No-one was injured and the cause of the fire, in a utility area, was still under investigation on Monday.

Firefighters also dealt with deliberate blazes at grassland at Undergate Road, Dinnington, on Sunday evening and a wheelie bin at Churchill Avenue in Maltby in the early hours of Monday.

Other deliberate incidents included a rubbish fire in an outbuilding at High Street, Goldthorpe, on Sunday morning and a car at Cumwell Lane, Hellaby, in the afternoon.

A kitchen fire at Hollowgate on Friday evening was out on arrival.
