Lost Chord seeks supporters for Great Yorkshire Run

ROTHERHAM dementia charity Lost Chord is appealing for runners to support it by taking part in the BUPA Great Yorkshire Run.

Lost Chord provides interactive musical experiences for dementia sufferers in 20 care home across South Yorkshire.

Now the charity wants runners to help them raise cash by being sponsored to take part in September’s run in Sheffield.

Lost Chord fundraising manager Tina Harrison said: "I know just how great the sense of achievement is when you cross the finish line because I competed in the 2011 event myself and loved every minute of it.

"There's an incredible atmosphere over the entire 10k and the fact that you are doing something to support a great cause just keeps you going.”
