What a scruffy town

If you are a visitor to Rotherham you would surely be put of by the state of litter.  Empty beer cans etc,  weeds growing up buildings, cigarette butts everywhere.

For example outside our Civic Theatre weeds growing up the building, cigarette ends just thrown down and disgusting litter bins.

Is it that we donthave enough waste bins around? Or shouid we ask the council to put the pride back in Streetpride?

I don't blame the frontline staff, there just isn't enough of them. Maybe it's down to cutbacks, even the grass cutting around the borough has declined and even the state of our roads.

You could go on and on. I urge the big boys of our council to get out there and see for themselves and maybe start and listen to the people of Rotherham. or we will just become scruffy Rotherham .
