Man hurt in bus station incident

Police said they were made aware of an incident that was reported at around 6.55am at Rotherham Interchange.

The man suffered serious injuries and was taken to Rotherham Hospital where his condition was described as life-threatening.

Police are investigating but say there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances.

Bus services were disrupted as both ends of the interchange were closed off at one stage and the multi-storey car park was shut for some time.
