Gran’s horror over racist graffiti
A HORRIFIED gran has told of her shock after racist graffiti was daubed on her front door.
Lorna Scratton called the police after discovering an offensive word written in yellow paint at her maisonette on Markfield Drive, Flanderwell, on Wednesday morning.
The 55-year-old, said she had suffered racist remarks from neighbours as she has mixed-race children and grandchildren but did not know who was behind this week’s vandalism attack.
Police are investigating the incident
