Trio look to lift Millers

ROTHERHAM United will emerge from the international break with three new faces after a busy transfer deadline day.

Experienced goalkeeper Lee Camp signed from AFC Bournemouth on a two-year contract while manager Steve Evans has bolstered his midfield options by taking Norwich City pair Anthony Andreu and Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe on loan.

Andreu is here until January 2 and Odjidja for a month. Both featured when Alex Neil’s team won 2-1 at the New York Stadium in the Capital One Cup last Tuesday.

Evans said: "I must thank my good friend Alex Neil for his help as I know that he had several options in the Championship for both these lads separately, and moving as a partnership.

"My first task was to convince him hat a period of time at Rotherham United in the Championship would allow both players to return to Carrow Road in due course and play for the Canaries in the Barclays Premier League."

Northern Ireland international Camp (31) will compete with Adam Collin for the goalkeepers' jersey now that loan stopper Kelle Roos has returned to parent club Derby County.

Evans said: "I am delighted that we have been able to secure the services of such an experienced Championship goalkeeper.

"The lad played against us on three occasions last season and our supporters will have seen it first hand the qualities he possesses."

All three will hope to be involved when the Millers, bottom of the Championship, gun for their first league win at Charlton Athletic next Saturday.
