Maltby building hit by arson attack
A FIRE was deliberately started at a derelict building on Monday night (January 6).
South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue attended the incident in Maltby at a disused picture house on Tickhill Road at 10.20pm.
A spokeswoman for the SYFR said wooden timber inside the former theatre, which has no roof, was deliberately set on fire.
A crew from Maltby fire station were in attendance for around half an hour and used a hose reel to put out the fire.
