200-up for Dearne Valley Walking Group

A WALKING group celebrated reaching 200-up with a bumper turnout in the Peak District.

Dearne Valley Walking Group marked their 200th walk with a four-mile family stroll to the summit trig point of Win Hill in the Hope Valley, with 27 people of all ages taking part.

Dearne Valley Walking Group was formed in 2009 by Terence Rowland, originally as a group for family and friends to enjoy his and his friends’ walking exploits. The group has now grown into an independent walking group with over 70 members of all ages.
