Man accused of Rotherham knife robbery
A MAN will appear at court this morning in connection with a knifepoint robbery outside a supermarket.
Andrew Grice (44) of Town Lane, Greasbrough is accused of robbing a 56-year-old woman while she waited in her car outside Tesco in Forge Island.
Grice is also charged with possession of a knife in public and possession of an offensive weapon in public. He will answer the charges at Rotherham Magistrates’ Court.
A man approached the woman’s car and demanded her handbag at around 5pm on Monday, February 17. There was a struggle before the man ran off with the bag.
