Millers held in finale

ROTHERHAM United had to settle for a draw against Northampton Town in their final game at Don Valley Stadium this afternoon.

Leading 1-0 through Alex Revell’s 30th minute strike, they were denied a deserved win by Adebayo Akinfenwa’s stoppage time equaliser.

Lewis Grabban hit the outside of a post and Revell went close to a second goal as Rotherham had the better of the contest and restricted the visitors to very few chances before Akinfenwa’s last gasp header.
