Dementia advice for free in the Dearne
DEARNE residents can pick up advice on dementia at Mexborough health centre next week.
As part of the activities around Dementia Week, a representative from the Alzheimer’s Society will be visiting the Health Centre on Wednesday May 18 between 9.30am and 11.30am.
Surgery business manager Linda Faulkner said: “She will have information literature to hand out and will offer advice to patients and their carers.
“It is also hoped to have a display of items which have been made by members of the Creative Wellbeing Group.”
Refreshments will be available at a small charge to raise funds for dementia services.
