Table tennis aces coming to town
LOCAL sports fans have a rare chance to see some of the country's top table tennis players in action when they come to Rotherham for a special tournament.
Team GB ace and seven-times senior national champion Darius Knight, top-ranked junior Sam Walker and Rotherham's own former U19 national champion, Ben Barlow, are the star turns at the Bill Chafer Youth Club, Bramley, on Saturday, June 15.
Another top player is being lined up to join them to compete for the Quick Play Cup.

Hide AdOrganised in association with the booming Rotherham Scorpions Junior Table Tennis Club, it is hoped the tournament can become a yearly event.
Doors open at 5.30pm for a 6pm start and tickets are priced £5 (adult) and £3 (child), with a family ticket (two adults and two children) available for £12.
