Family escapes house blaze
A FAMILY of six escaped from a fire at their home in Masbrough which spread from an empty adjoining property on Monday night.
The fire, started by an electrical fault in an attic, spread to the neighbouring house in Avondale Road through the loft, according to South Yorkshire fire service.
The family, four adults and two teenagers, were unhurt after the alarm was raised at about 9pm.
