Home care firm creates 60 jobs

Home Instead Senior Care, which provides care to people in their own homes in Rotherham, this week revealed it was launching a year-long recruitment drive.

The firm said the need to employ more carers in the borough was a reflection of a national trend, which is a result of the ageing population.

David Coldrick of Home Instead Rotherham, based on Moorgate, said: “Caring for the elderly has never been a more important issue.

“The huge increase in demand for home care has resulted in a significant period of change and growth in social care, which is leading to a broader range of improved job opportunities in the sector.”
