Help the Heroes gig is a UB40 Labour of Love
TOP UB40 tribute act the Labour of Love Band will be performing at a concert in Rotherham to raise money for Help for Heroes.
The event next Friday at the Consort Suite, Thurcoft, is being organised by Rotherham-based promotion company MW Entertainment, which has already raised £48,000 for the charity.
“We’re hoping to make it up to the £50,000 mark,” said Sean Wallage, who runs MW with Mick Mangham.
MW is the only company in the country which sells merchandise for Help for Heroes.
