Crews tackle two car fires
FIREFIGHTERS were called to tackle two burning cars.
One crew from Rotherham station attended a burning Vauxhall Astra on waste ground near Victoria Street, Kilnhurst at around 9pm on Thursday evening.
They spent half an hour putting out the fire, which is thought to have been started deliberately.
One crew from Dearne station put out a Vauxhall Corsa on Dawson Avenue, Rawmarsh.
They attended at 11.15pm, leaving the scene at around 12am — the fire is also thought to have been set deliberately.
