Burned out car found in Maltby

FIREFIGHTERS found the burned shell of an unidentified car on a farm track in Bramley last night.

One crew from Maltby fire station attended Slacks Lane shortly after 10pm yesterday, finding the charred remains of a vehicle thought to be a Ford Ka.

They used a hose reel to cool the wreckage down, leaving the scene around five minutes after they arrived.

A fire service spokesman said that the fire is thought to have been started deliberately.
