Hide AdAn inquest into Libby-Jayne’s death was opened and adjourned last Thursday (24) by Doncaster Coroner Ms Nicola Mundy.
The toddler died at Doncaster Royal Infirmary after firefighters pulled her from a blaze at her home on Don Street, Conisbrough, on October 17.
A joint investigation between South Yorkshire Police and Fire Service is underway with early indications showing that the fire, which took hold of bedding in the main bedroom, started accidentally.
This week, fire fighters have been visiting households in Conisbrough to talk to residents about preventing fires and fitting free smoke alarms.
