Hallow Bean smashes £10,000 barrier

A CREEPY concert in memory of former Rotherham guitarist Ron ‘Bean’ Crook helped organisers smash a fund-raising milestone.

The third Hallow Bean concert put on by the organisers of the annual Bean Fest music festival helped lift the total raised by the series of successful charity gigs to more than £10,000.

The money has gone to the Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.

Three hundred people attend the event at the Park View Restaurant and Bar in Swinton, where they saw acts such as View from S62, Rage Against The Bean, Mask of Virtue and duo The Hot Soles, followed by a spectacular spot from Foo Fighters tribute, Uk Foo Fighters.
