Wath Woods body probe latest

AN inquest has been opened on a man found dead in Wath Woods last week.

The body of Nigel Ball (45), of Warren Vale Road, Swinton, was found in woodland off Abdy Lane last Tuesday by a dog walker.

A police spokeswoman confirmed that there were no suspicious circumstances in the death of the married factory manager.

No details of the cause of death were released following a preliminary post mortem examination and the inquest was adjourned for further tests to take place.
