We can beat 'em, says Evans

THE Millers tackle the team with the best away record in the Football League tomorrow as they chase a place in the pontentially money-spinning third round of the FA Cup — but boss Steve Evans is adamant that Notts County are beatable.

The Meadow Lane men haven’t lost on the road since FEBRUARY, are unbeaten in ten away matches this year and are in the thick of the promotion race in League One.

But Evans says that if Rotherham hit their top game and the crowd play their part in the biggest game yet at the New York Stadium, then all eyes will be on Sunday’s third round draw.

“This is as tough as they come at this level,” he said. “We will have to put in our best performance of the season because we know how tought it’s going to be — you only have to look at their record."
