Motorists targeted on Rotherham’s roads

MOTORISTS who stray over the speed limit will be targeted by a team of officers aiming to make Rotherham’s roads safer.

Roadside mobile speed camera patrols will be carried out by a team from the South Yorkshire Safety Camera Partnership for a week starting on Monday (9).

Among the locations subject to patrols are: A57, Anston; Doncaster Road, Mexborough; Low Road, Conisbrough; Herringthorpe Valley Road, East Herringthorpe; Upper Wortley Road, Thorpe Hesley; Doncaster Road, Thrybergh; and Doncaster Road, Conisbrough.

The other roads subject to patrols are: Bawtry Road at Brecks, Brinsworth, Hellaby and Wickersley; Rotherham Road, Maltby; Warren Vale Road, Swinton; Wales Road, Kiveton Park; Doncaster Road, Wath; Fenton Road, Greasbrough; Middle Lane South, Herringthorpe; Old Road, Conisbrough; Vale Road, Thrybergh; Worksop Road, Aston; and Pontefract Road, Brampton.
