Denman played a key role in Rotherham’s 25-19 victory at Castle Park on Saturday, helping form a solid front row which pushed the struggling Knights into eventual submission.

“It was awesome to get the win. I’m really happy with that,” he said.

“In the first half they really came at us and we went in at half time really disappointed with ourselves.

“But in the second half, like we have done in the last few weeks, we stepped it up and won.

“Now we’re hoping to win every game so we can get into the top six. That’s our target now.”
