Scouts boosted by Ferham fundraiser
A FUND-raising night for a youth group hit by two break-ins has pulled in £600.
Cllr Jahangir Akhtar, deputy leader of Rotherham Borough Council, organised the charity dinner at the Orient Express in Ferham to support Rotherham District Scouts.
The Scout HQ in Grove Road, Rotherham, has been targeted by burglars twice in a matter of months.
The dinner event included a performance by Rotherham’s Got Talent winner Daniel Taylor.
