Wake-up call should not be needed
The director for children's services in Rotherham is reported by the BBC Look North programme this morning as saying that the new report into child abuse is a 'wake-up call'.
Anyone working in children's service in Rotherham or anywhere in the UK who needs a wake-up call in order to do their job properly and ensure that children are protected should be asked to look for another job. Preferably one that does not entail working around vulnerable people.
