Knifemen terrorise teenager on Rotherham bus

POLICE are searching for two men who attempted to rob a 16-year-old boy on a bus.

One of the men is believed to have threatened the teenager with a knife as they demanded money from him.

They ran off after the youngster managed to alert the driver, who stopped the number two service on the evening of January 10.

The two suspects chatted to the driver after boarding in Maltby. Police said the pair later covered their faces and sat near the boy, who got on ten minutes later.

Both men are described as white in their early 20s. One has trimmed, mousy brown hair and is of a large build. He wore a beige hooded jacket at the time.

The other is thin, has cropped, blond hair and wore a checked shirt with a white scarf or jumper around his neck.
