Fire crew called to motorway blaze
FIREFIGHTERS attended a car fire on the M1 on Saturday evening.
They were called to the slip road of the southbound exit slip road at junction 34 at about 7.30pm.
A spokeswoman confirmed the cause of the blaze, which involved a VW Golf, was accidental.
Fire crews also attended a rubbish fire at Windsor Street, Thurnscoe, at 7.40pm on Sunday.
