Council can take action . . . when it wants

IT does make one sad looking through the Advertiser week after week and reading all those complaints about the lack of positive action by our elected officials.

If the allegations about one elected official are correct they are taking some quite positive action.

Like every resident in Rotherham this officer has had to put up with traffic running up and down his house and it had quite upset him. So like every resident who has a problem he complained, but unlike most resident he got some action - there they do move - and had the road blocked off.

We might consider this to be quite selfish but a hard-working officer of the town is entitled to some peace and quiet.

But on the other hand so is every other hard-working resident - wonder if we can get every road blocked off?
