Shopkeeper threatened with baseball bat

A group of men got out of two vehicles which pulled up on Union Street where the lads, aged 14 and 15, were walking.

The suspects, described as Asian, allegedly threatened both boys, who were treated at hospital for cuts to their hands.

It is alleged that a Gucci gold watch and a pair of trainers were stolen in the incident at 7.30pm on March 22, police said. 

The vehicles were described as a white or silver BMW and a black car. Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting incidents 956 and 1019 of March 22.
