PC hurt in domestic incident

A POLICE officer suffered facial injuries while arresting a suspect after a domestic incident.

Officers were called to Chiltern House on Moorgate Street at about 10.45pm on Sunday (26).

Jason Craig Higgs (34) was charged with assault causing actual bodily harm and being drunk and disorderly.

He was bailed by magistrates in Rotherham on Tuesday (28) and will appear at Sheffield Crown Court on November 11.
