VIDEO: Elon Musk's Tesla "Snakebot" charger in action
Late last year the premium electric car maker’s founder Elon Musk tweeted that his firm was working on a charger "that automatically moves out from the wall and connects like a solid metal snake" and now a prototype can be seen in action.
But even Mr Musk concedes that the concept looks “kinda wrong”.

The innovative new device aims to make home charging stress-free, removing the need for Tesla’s electric cars to plug their vehicle in to top up its batteries.
No details have been released in relation to when the charger could be made publicly available or how much it might cost.
