Man rescued from Mexborough house blaze
A MAN in his 20s was rescued by firefighters after a deliberate blaze at flats in Mexborough.
Crews from Dearne and Rotherham stations were called to Main Street at about 4am today. They were at the scene for about an hour.
South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue is investigating the circumstances of the blaze but confirmed it appeared to have been started deliberately.
Colleagues from Edlington station were called out when two wheelie bins were set alight on Harlington Court, Denaby Main, at about 10.20pm yesterday.
