Safety warning after kitchen fires

FIREFIGHTERS bidding to raise awareness of kitchen fires have renewed their warnings after attending two incidents within a matter of minutes.

Firefighters were quickly on the scene in both instances and ensured the properties were safe for their occupants to return to.

A fire service spokesman said: “The service is currently carrying out a Kitchen Nightmares campaign which is aiming to alert people to the dangers of kitchen fires.”
