Karl back in Superbikes action

AFTER a long abscence while concentrating on this year’s Isle of Man TT races, Karl Harris returned to top flight action over the weekend back in British Superbikes at Brands Hatch.

Having never riden for Kawasaki, he took the seat for the Liverpool-based Quattro Plant team and was relishing the opportunity to race back in the series.

A crash in first practice didnt slow him down as he got to grips with a charteristics of a new machine and the Aston racer went on to card two great results.

He secured a confidence-boosting 13th in race one and bettered that with a 12th in the second outing, having not even tested the bike before the event.

"It's great to be back in BSB, especially on the Brands Hatch GP circuit.,” he said.
