Allotment volunteers needed
A COMMUNITY group is appealing for helpers to dig deep and back an allotment project.
Dearne Community Allotment Group are having an open day on September 17 and appealed to members of the public to join them at the site off George Street in Goldthorpe and help install a new poly-tunnel and erected a fence.
The work starts at 11am and volunteers are invited to turn up on the day with wellies and waterproofs.
There will be free hot and cold refreshments available.
