Assault suspect arrested
A MAN wanted by police in connection with a serious assault in Thurnscoe has been arrested.
Steven Watkins (29) was apprehended in Thurnscoe just after 11pm yesterday and remains in police custody.
He was wanted in connection with a serious assault on a 33-year-old man on Sunday, September 28.
Officers would like to thank members of the public for their assistance in sharing the appeal and reporting sightings.
