Julie’s in the hunt for business gong
THE founder of one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of electronic security equipment based in Rotherham is among the finalists in the 2013 Businesswoman of the Year awards, which will be announced tomorrow.
Julie Kenny, who is also chairman and chief Executive of the award-winning Pyronix in Braithwell Way, Hellaby, is among seven businesswomen who have been shortlisted.
The seven are competing to receive the prestigious title at the 31st Woman of the Year Luncheon and Awards at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole today.

Hide AdMs Kenny has been presented with a CBE for her roles in serving business and industry on a regional and national level over the last 20 years.
The awards — which are raising funds for the charities Ladies Fighting Breast Cancer, Alzheimer's Research UK and Vitalise — celebrate the outstanding achievements of women in their own business or organisation.
