CF Booth plans knocked back
SCRAP metal firm CF Booth has been refused planning permission for billboards around the former Millmoor pub site.
The company wanted to erect four advertisement hoardings on Masbrough Street.
But a spokesman for Rotherham Borough Council said: “We consider the proposed billboards by virtue of their size, siting and number in this prominent location would result in a clutter of advertisement material which would be materially detrimental to the visual amenity and the character of the area.”
