Disruption likely at Aston library and customer service centre

Rotherham Borough Council will start work at the centre on Worksop Road today, resulting in the short-term temporary closure of some service facilities.

Internal changes mean that the ground floor will have a fully-merged library and customer service team.

Both the library and customer service centre will be closed from noon today but a drop box will be provided for people to return books.

Library services will re-open on at 9am on Monday June, and advice about benefits and council tax will be available from 1pm, although the payment machine will not be available on this day.  

The full range of services will be up and running from 9am on Tuesday.

During the closure, people are encouraged to use the pay points at Dinnington or Riverside House.
