Collection raises money for Rotherham veterans
A STREET collection to raise cash for a project to support war veterans has brought in big money.
The event on Bridge Street, Rotherham, on Saturday raised £118.45 for the South Yorkshire Veterans Hub which helps former soldiers in difficulty.
Organiser Alistair Casey aims to raise cash to buy a house in Kiveton which can act as a lifeline for veterans suffering problems after leaving military life.
