Probe into tot's death

AN INQUEST has begun into the death last week of a 19-week-old Rotherham baby.

Coroner Ms Nicola Mundy opened the hearing into the death of Finley James Bowler at Rotherham Magistrates’ Court yesterday.

The young boy was found to be unresponsive in his cot shortly before 2pm on Monday, January 2. He was taken to Rotherham Hospital but showed no signs of life and was pronounced dead.

The inquest was adjourned until pathology reports have been returned.
