Counselling service appeals for Rotherham volunteers

VOLUNTEER counsellors are being sought by a service which offers help to adults who have suffered abuse at any time in their lives.

The Rotherham Women’s Counselling Service and Pit Stop for Men, currently funded by the BIG Lottery and Ministry of Justice, has a lengthy waiting list, q often of four to six months, and is seeking more counsellors.

They would welcome help from anyone qualified and experienced in this field to fill the role in a voluntary capacity.

Anyone who can help is asked to contact Sheila Mudadi-Billings, lead clinician, by emailing [email protected] or telephoning 01709 835482.
