Minion helps Home Bargains move in at Parkgate

RETAILER Home Bargains is opening up a new store in Rotherham this weekend  – and a minion will be there to help mark the occasion.

The store, the company’s second in Rotherham, will open the new retail park on Great Western Way in Parkgate on Saturday.

Stuart, one of the minions from the popular Disney films Despicable Me and Minions, will be there from 11am to noon.

Home Bargains is investing £500,000 in the new store which will create up to 50 new jobs.

Joe Morris, operations director at Home Bargains, said: “Gate Park will be a great location for us and we’re pleased to be a new addition to the local business community.”
