Police investigate Dalton "hate crime"
POLICE are investigating after a man and boy suffered a racially-aggravated attack in Dalton yesterday.
The 20-year-old and 15-year-old were assaulted and verbally abused outside Asda on Aldwarke Lane at 11.30pm — both suffered minor head injuries.
Officers are treating the incident as a hate crime and would like to hear from anyone who may have seen the incident.
They urge witnesses to call them on 101 or email [email protected], quoting incident number 1310 of November 3.
