All the sevens in Dearne Valley charity run

SEVEN mums, seven marathons, seven days.

That’s the pretty straightforward challenge being taken on at Dearne Valley Leisure Centre this week to raise money for charities Dan’s Helping Hand and Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.

The runners — Trisha Hall, Elizabeth Kidd, Lorna Mee, Gemma Mills, Stacey Hanley, Maria Cole and Caroline Cole — are all members of the Dearne Valley Fitmums group, whose numbers have grown from five members to 20 since the start of the year, and began their challenge yesterday.

Dan’s Helping Hand is a new charity found to help families of children who have lost their fight with cancer pay for the funeral.
