Lidl helps brighten up Christmas for McDonalds

CHRISTMAS was a “Lidl” cheerier for one Mexborough family thanks to a community link-up with the German supermarket chain.

A £100 Christmas food hamper was presented to the McDonald family with help from Mexborough’s Food Aware and haulage firm JP Walton and son.

JP Walton and Lidl both donated £50 of goodies and Food Aware and Mexborough Children’s Centre chose a family to receive it.
