Call for Dearne Valley youngsters’ dog drawings

The Cooper Gallery in Barnsley is celebrating all things dog this January but they need help from the children of Barnsley to complete the project.

They are asking artists from across the borough to email images of their paintings of dogs to feature in a virtual exhibition within the gallery.

The virtual exhibition will be on a touch screen in the west wing and everyone will have at least one of their photographs featured.

The museum is asking people to send in photos along with their name, age, contact number, title of work, style of drawing and the name and breed of the dog pictured.
